The roof of the historic Belleview Biltmore Resort Hotel was hit hard during the Florida hurricanes of 2004. Here are some examples of what extensive Photoshop retouching can do to restore the roof of this magnificent building to its original beauty. As you can see from the example at the bottom of the page, any evidence of digital retouching in the black and white version is virtually undetectable. The color version certainly masks the ugly brown tarp and brings the viewer very close to the appearance of the original roof. Perhaps this is what the building will look like once the brand new roof is installed later this year.
